For those that are interested, Oak Mountain is reopening for the season. Oak Mt. is located in the tiny village of Speculator in Hamilton County, NY. The village government has decided to take over operations this season. The mountain was actually closed all last season after the current owners went bankrupt after the 05-06 season. Sad

There is an Open House at the ski center coming up on Sat., 11/24 to get things going.

If you're interested in finding out more, re: ticket prices, season passes, etc. e-mail the Speculator Chamber of Commerce at info@speculatorchamber.com. Let's hope it is a success Exclamation

I used to ski Oak years ago.... many good memories of that place....

Sweet. Another place to ski. I think Lebanon, NH still has a municipal ski hill.
