Certainly you've had the Lake Placid Brewey's beers. They brew in Plattsburgh, but you can get their growlers at the Restaurant in LP. Unfortunately, they've had to put the Friday evening 'tasting sessions' at the P' burgh brewery on hold....

Summit still closed. Are they having serious problems getting the lift back on line? Anyone know the scoop?

I was wondering the same thing. Anyone know if the Summit Quad is expected to be open for the weekend?

It did open Sunday afternoon. I've been trying to find out why it has not been open the last 2 days and when it will reopen. As soon as I do I'll post it unless someone beats me to it.

The Summit Quad was not open Wednesday (1/2) and may not open today, Thursday (1/3), due to the extreme cold and wind. It was a balmy -7F below this 7:30AM today and windchills are expected to be as low as -20 below ‘on the hill’ throughout the day. The ‘Gondi’, FaceLift and other lower lifts are now running, but the Summit Quad may not run ‘til Friday (1/4).

OPEN today @ 11:30AM! TakeItToTheSlopes & I skied a few runs off Parons, Upper Skyward & Niagara before trying out Wilderness, Thruway/Drapers and Mountain Run. All were in great shape (especially Upper Skyward) and they were pounding snow up on Wilderness, Upper/Lower Skyward and Niagara today. It was a very cold, blue sky day, but well worth being on the slopes. This weekend looks to be setting up to be fantastic! Very Happy

Yeah it was, plus you could cut over to Upper Cloudspin and find all kinds of pow hit. How about Niagara? Dang that was in great shape. Great weekend.
