Wow, the mountain was incredible the last week. Snow and sun! Unfortunately, there has been very little new snow. The sun and warmth were taking their toll by Sunday afternoon. The wind must have picked up Saturday night - Upper Cloudspin was a little wind blown Sunday morning. By Sunday afternoon, the ground was showing between the bump on Victoria. Rocks and the boilerplate under the fresh are starting to come back on Essex and others. I took a pass on skiing Hoyts when it opened on Saturday because it just looked too sketchy. It was great the they opened it and let us decide wether to ski it or not. I would like them to do that more, especially in the woods.

We really need more snow!
