Josh from Amsterdam NY I have a pass for Whiteface I have had a pass for 7 years now and every now and then I will stop at gore and ski but I usually am at whiteface. I am still in school I am also a New York state police explorer. I am a skier.

Jmokes, Saratoga...feel like I'm at an AA meeting right now..."Hi, my name is Mokes & I've been a Gore a holic for 15 years"....this is when you guys all respond in unison "Hi mokes".

Anyway, been skiing there for 15 years along with my wife, 2 kids & the same 6 or 8 guys for the past 10 years. Love to hate it...too many great days to walk. I started email Mike Pratt about a year ago about a bunch of stuff incl. paid parking. We talked, the lot is a lot bigger than he orig. said it would be so I got a little pissed & started the FB group "skiers against paid parking", got interviewed by a few papers, had some stickers & business cards with Ted Blazer's email made up & yada, yada, yada...

The next orda meeting is Tuesday, 3/16, 10:30 am @ the Olympic Center & it's open to the public. Perfect venue to voice some concerns if you ask me...& many of the posts have been way too good with some very valid points.

I’m Marie, married 30 yrs, 3 kids - 2 successfully launched, one still in college; I ski 50+ days a year. I love my big dog. We’ve been Gore pass holders since 2001. I started to see changes in the management just not caring anymore about keeping the base customers happy and this premium parking problem was the last straw and I got vocal. I try to maintain a polite discourse in disagreeing but I am diligent in maintaining pressure to be heard. Finally, I don’t think Gore cares one tiny bit how I feel about anything.
