NYS Freestyle A event

Congrats to my boy Mike Lynn and the rest of the freestyle coaches and staff for putting on a 1st rate event this weekend. Things started a little late on Sat., but once it got going it was great. The course looked really good and those kids sure have skills.

Those kids were great. I didn't really stop to watch (the skiing was just too good), but from what I saw from the lift, those kids definitely have game. It's amazing how quickly the skills progressed once the FIS dropped the "no inverts" rule. I knew it was on when I saw the girls throwing backflips off the 2nd hit.

My favorite tricks (that I saw) were a delayed frontflip and a 360 Iron Cross to Spread combo. Stylie.
