Strange, up until July 11, one can buy a season pass for those 6 and under or 70 and over for a ridiculously low $30 (see http://www.whiteface.com/newsite/tickpass/seasonpass.php).

So, since I have a friend coming up with a couple of young kids for a week, I figured I'd have him buy them season passes for $30 a pop.

BUT, according to 2006/2007 daily ticket prices, kids 6 and under and seniors 70 and over "ski and ride FREE!!!" (see http://www.whiteface.com/newsite/tickpass/daypass.php).

Maybe WF changed its pricing policy for 2007/2008 to get the little ones and seniors to pay their fair share (sarcasm)?

I would assume that the day pass is free and if you intend to not ski much you would get that and go to the window each time. The season pass has the extra expense of printing out the card and handling type fees associated with it. its more labor intensive but would make sense if you skied a lot at whiteface.

you are just trying to find things to complain about arent you?

are you just searching for

Believe it or not, I'm trying to do something nice for my brother-in-law and save him some money next winter. Basically, I think it comes down to either going every day to the ticket counter and getting his kids free passes or buying his kids season passes at $30 and not having to go to the ticket counter to get free passes.

Id gladly pay 30 bucks to not have to deal with the ticket counter. Call me lazy, but I love just being able to roll up and walk right on the lifts.

Not to be negative or to flame you, shooter, but you're a world-class idiot that probably eats pieces of sh*t for breakfast.

whatever - I was just pointing out that the day lift ticket prices arent posted yet. They will still be free as they always are. The season pass price makes sense because it is more costly to print the passes and for shipping handling etc.
