Top of Hoyt's High. As you can see excavating needs to be done on all the downed trees.

A couple of notes:

As you can see from the pics of Hoyt's the going was tuff cause of the trees. Had we gone down further the trail gets steep and chages to The Flume. The Flume section has been cleared of downed trees.

The top of the Wilmington Trail runs gently along the ridge for the first 1/2 mile (Think Easy Street) then gets steeper. After that it drops off and gets much steeper with alot of turns. Lookout Below is a mile done the W-Trail. Time restraints stopped us from going down there.

Things are looking very good. :D

Wish I knew you where here.

I was also told that if all goes well everything that needs to get done on Lookout for next season will be finished in 6 to 8 weeks. Then work on the Sugar Glades can begin. Alot of trees cut for the Wilmington trail will have to be moved out of the way.
