What did everyone do to stay in shape for the ski season. I hiked alot and put a little over 2,000 miles on my legs with my road bike. I also found a great exercise for the now colder days. I have been skate skiing. Found the skate skis that don't require boots and have pneumatic wheels. You can ski just about anywhere. Geat whole body workout. Check it out, I guess this will work if you just click on it.

Trained for and ran a couple of half-marathons and drank lots of beer.

Hey, don't knock the beer drinking ... "pear" is a shape too!!!! I guess it's getting to be that time to knock off a few pounds ... man I hate November!!!

Ahhhhh, it must be getting close now; Willy is back, and the annual question is on the table.

I kayaked, biked and hiked in the summer. Since September I have not exercised as much as I'd like to. I've started hitting the gym more lately.

Ballet is the way to go......amazing what it does for your balance!!! And of course it is combined with hiking and kayaking.

I started slow - beers only in spring, then mostly wine in summer and now cognac and vodka only. I'm ready!

I also included this regime in my training program. I don't think it's going to help my skiing. It might help my apres skiing.
