Can't find any in the gallery of Slide 4 in winter. However, you may want to check out some pics taken of a hike going up Slide 4 late last Fall by Whiteface Willy, tgf67 and myself.

And you're right, Eric, it is rugged... regardless which way (and when) you are going!

That 3rd shot really gives good perspective of the steepness---nice

On a Slides day I'll always ski it once, but after that I don't get past 3 usually. I love 3.

Isn't there a 5th too??? Or maybe it's not an official "slide" but I do know it's tough to get too.

Check out this guys pics of his hike up Slide 4. It gives a little perspective on the steepness.

In the pic below you can see it lookers far right. You have to drop in from the highway cause the trees are just too dense to traverse from Slide 4. Ghostrider told me about his trip down it. He and his crew over shot it and had to hike back up to ski it. He said it was real hard to get to. I was hoping it would be easier to access from Lookout Mt., but after hiking up there this summer it doesn't look like that's the case to me. I hope I'm wrong.

GREAT LINK! Thanks.

Can you ski 4 all they way to the bottom, or do you have to cut back to 3 when it starts getting pretty narrow?

You can ski it all the way. You have to be careful not to miss a hard right over to Slide Out, otherwise you end up through some pretty thick trees and end up at the bottom of Blazer's. The have the turn pretty well marked though.

Sure does, thanks, never had seen that before--good info. Looking at that I can see how getting to 5 would be "challenging" to say the least. Slide 6???/ Dang, never knew that was even there!!!!

Nice, first part of that looks steep and narrow, then I like the way it cuts back against the fall line---you ever hit that before???
