Bar across from Stewarts?

I know this place was up for sale and while I am not sure, I thought I read that the owner of the Black Mt Inn purchased it? True? Regardless of the owner, has anyone been by lately? Is it open now, will it be open by Xmas? This season.

I have enjoyed a few burgers and beers in this place under owners gone by. Would like to see it open for the first week of Dec....when I will be up.

If they don't open just go to Stewarts for a burger, they have them now. Then buy a blue refresher and throw some fleishman's vodka in... I heard they mix pretty well together. (really, though I've never tried- too much sugar. I prefer Fleishmans/bartons/glenmore/crystal palace on the rocks)

It will be called Durant's. It is now owned by the owners of Black Mt. They will hopefully be open in a couple of weeks.

Haha . . yes . . . Free beer is always a good business plan.

But there's no reason why they wouldn't offer sick happy hour specials . . . Like Free Nachos and Wings . . . Mmmm . . . Nachos

I will do my part to keeping them in business. My father in law told me that he had one of his better meals at Blk Mtn Lodge a few weeks ago...Good Home Cooking. This gives rise to a good burger and perhaps some peanut oil french fries...
