Now, would that be the male measurement, or a female's ( or, should I say the official mountain reported, or some paying patron with a yard stick )?

Megatron reported 7+" at 1300 feet, so it could be legit.

7"+ at 1100 yesterday morning, 4" of slop in the evening after the rain.
10" very possible (depending on you measure it  )

Oh Whew I thought it might have meant the Northern California Parasitologists or something.
Anyway,
the weather map showed it snowing at my place all day but when I got home there was no new accumulation but lots of slush. We lost power so my weather station wasn't reporting and the other Weather Underground Station in NC is down, but one in Chestertown got .39" yesterday.
Yup, it rained.

No rain at megatron hq, but some very wet "snow" came down in the late morning. Storm total was 9''. The snow looks wrinkled this morning.

Yes.
Use of the R word is bad JuJu.
Actually I think it's okay to use it here, just not in the weather thread.
Garnet Hill reported 14 inches at 2000'. It's been a long time since GHL was open on Thanksgiving Day.

I'm up in North River at our cabin - 2000'.
I'm buying the 14 inches GHL reported based on what I just shoveled off the porch.
