just wanted to know what this storm is bringing to the Mt. and if it is effecting the conditions(positive or negative).

Also it was a great opening weekend had loads of fun and saw alot of people. Cant wait for Friday! :D

Too early to say. I left around 5 pm, and drove back in solid snow ( nothing heavy ) 'til Saratoga where it changed to rain.

NOAA was calling for snow/sleet 'til midnight then a change over to rain/freezing rain with a change back to snow mid a.m.. Total accumulation 3-5.

Its raining in Potsdam right now. It was snowing earlier, and we got some small snow accumulation. The temperature is right around 35, so its probably colder at Whiteface and at higher elevations. There should be some snow up here over the next couple of days...

Just listened to the weather guy from channel 5. Theres going to be some rain across the northern Adirondacks and North Country tonight, but the system moving over the Tupper Lake area right now should turn to snow later on tonight. Thats definitely good news for Whiteface. :D
