they were predicting 1" freezing rain first THEN 6" - 8".

the freezing rain instead fell as snow, 5" !!! and the 6" - 8" still to come tonight - with more tomorrow!!!

Twas truly great. Pics to follow.

Very fun day - albeit relatively short for myself. Got on the gondola at 9:15. Headed up to Topridge area. Breakable crust with 5-8 inches underneath. Groomed areas had an inch of soft on top. Skied for about three hours and headed out around noon. Everything looks in good shape. Only guns I saw going were near Chati and Hawkeye.

today was good, not great, but not horrible. topride was the best especially early when ppl really werent on it. hawkeye was very heavy. lower mountain was good too. anyone see the report for tomorrow. darkside open?!?!?!
