Hi all;
Could someone that lives near Gore, please post maybe later today or this evening, if it r---ed? I'd like to do a half day tomorrow AM, but don't want to drive up if it's gonna be a skating rink.

I was there yesterday with the wife and I have to say it was GREAT!!! :D

fwiw it's been raining steadily here in Lake George for an hour or so. the few inches of last night's snow that i didn't get cleaned off my driveway is all slop now. maybe different at elevation.

web cam sure would be helpful.

yes sir... we're seeing much of the same here in schroon.. we're at 38 degrees.. i dunno if elevation is gonna save us on this one.

Light rain over night turned to snow, with a dusting resulting. Temps right now are around 30*. The snowpack condensed a little, but I would say we dodged the bullet last night, lets hope we have are kevlar vests on this Saturday. The wind has been Howlin' all night and continues this morning. There will be lots of cleaning to be done, and since it is the holiday week, not much will get done. So, bottom line is be very careful in the woods.
