It was a brutal morning. The day is getting better witheach passing minute. Fast and firm are the conditions. The wind died down and the snow tribe is out in full force. Conditions will get better each day. At least it was a blue bird day out. #20

The best conditions where Excel to John's Bypass to Lower CS. Boreen also was in great shape. The Wilie was pretty good too and not alot of traffic compared to the rest of the mountain.

The visability was outstanding. Views acroos Lake C. to the little mountains of Vermont where outstanding.

4,000 skier/riders today.

Driving through Wilmington the resturants and motels where packed. Lp must be a zoo.

Placid was a bit of a zoo. the scenery was nice. the busyness made it acceptable to park in a street side no park zone, duck into a store, then down a block to do it again, 3 times. no one bothered us and it made for quick shopping.

we ducked out early to go to Saranac for the Ice Castle. really clear ice this year. cool.

next weekend it will be bobsled/luge/skeleton for a half day.

Anyone know if the Great Adirondack Steakhouse is still open on the main drag there in LP? Great place to catch din-din after a day of riding.

It's still open but I wouldn't say its great. Unless you like over priced food and sitting 12 inches away from the next table. It's a tourist trap for sure.
