Howdy. 2nd year, 50 yr. old, improving intermediate skiers.
Read previous posts about Wilmington Trail. Noted "like Approach (black) & Parron (blue) stitched together......" We skied Excelsior last winter and loved it. Weren't ready for any blacks at that time, and did not ski anything from the summit. 2 weeks ago, skied all diamonds at Snow Ridge except Amazing Grace, if that helps........Don't need lecturing about WF diamonds vs. diamonds at small, local hills -- we know.
So, fair to say that Wilmington is a long, challenging blue with some black pitches thrown in? What should we ski for a warm-up? What are 2 "easier" blacks at WF? Hard to tell from a trail map. How are the Essex and Upper Northway Trails, blacks which run parallel to and below Excelsior?
Thanks! Mike
