guns still on the length of chatie, and on the top of rumor. the rest of the mtn not to bad, a softer hard pack w/a little lose manmade on top. hawkeye's scratchy - topridge and uncas were better, dark side scratchy but edgeable.

the crowds were sparse.

the wind picked up pretty good after lunch. and then at 2 oclock it started to snow and blow pretty hard. the car had 2 inches on it by 3:30. let's hope it keeps up AND the wind doesn't blow it off.

ROTD was definitely Rumor. There was about an hour window in the morning where the sun came out just enough to help the cause. Chati was also very good. I thought the bottom half of the mountain was crowded, but the majority of those crowds stayed down below riding the Gondola. The day got progressively cloudier and damper before the snow kicked in. It was dumping on the drive home. The snow had a higher water content than earlier storms this year.

agreed rumor was sweet, and so was chati, skied tahawas glades, skiable but not great, skied twister glades, kinda ugly in there and with the new snow you wont be able to see the rocks,so b careful if you go in there, the woods up top arnt to bad and with new snow should be ok,all in all twas a very good day.as far as crowds it wasnt bad specialy for a holiday week, not many up top, skied onto the sb chair just about every time
