S4L took me on another guides tour of SVG. I forgot my camera, but like the Eagle Scot he is he's always prepared and had his daughter's camera. I'd like to give a special thanks to his daughter candace for uploading the pics for us.

Lower Glades are all cleared out and looking great

The upper glades have not been cut yet. You will notice the blue ribbons
that showed us the way. This area is very steep. Think Victor's Vortex
only much, much, much longer.

ahh, i still say it looks like a nice atv trail. i know.....it aint happenin.

thanks for posting and sharing!

how do the SVG work? is the entire wooded area to the skier's left off of the wilmington trail gladed? or are there distinct "ribbons" of glades descending from the three entries?

The different sections will have different names, but you can get all of it from the Hickcock entrance. It is a hugh area, soo many different lines we'll have to chose from. It's going to be great.

Hi guys,

Now I don't want to encroach on anybody's terrain, but where is this? It looks amazing!

I've been skiing at whiteface for about 5-6 years but have recently gotten too busy to justify a season pass. In fact, I barely get out to ski and even then I have to battle weekend crowds. I was hoping to simply stay off the lifts for the most part as I enjoy hiking just as much anyway.

nevermind. a quick search got me the answer...and I'm a bit disappointed, haha
