Nites look to be cold enough, but not day time temps. Here's hoping things turn quick so they can go 24-7.

But the question remains, as I asked in another thread, will they blow during the night if temps are above freezing during the day?

Snow making start moved back to Monday. Makes sense, temps are too warm daytime.

Thanks, but I'm still hoping one, or more, of the snowmaking specialists ( S4L, S4L, or S4L ), would share the criteria for when the guns are allowed to rage, or not.

Also, with this delay, is it still possible to open something on Black Friday ( it'd be tragic not to have my usual excuse to get out of Turkeyday festivities )?

I'll take these few weeks of warm temp-s in place of thaw we get in January

As NOAA mentions in "NOAA 2009 Winter Outlook" about Northeast:

Northeast: Equal chances for above-, near-, or below-normal temperatures and precipitation. Winter weather in this region is often driven not by El Niņo but by weather patterns over the northern Atlantic Ocean and Arctic, such as the North Atlantic Oscillation. These patterns are often more short-term, and are generally predictable only a week or so in advance.

so, lets hope that 2-weeks and 10-days forecasts are wrong
