You get everybody's gear out and nobody needs new equipment for the season. Woohoo! We've actually been in pretty good shape for a few years. With 3 kids 2-3 years apart we have gottten the most out of the gear we have purchased for the kids. Of course the oldest gets new when needed, but the boys get a say in which equip we buy as they will inherit. Well, until our oldest finally wanted girly-girl Roxy boots last season......but, as I said, she'll get a second year out of them, so even though they don't get handed down to the boys we still make out ok.
Time to lug the gear off to the shop for the usual pre-season work.
Now to tackle the closet to see if their duds will go another year............new jackets for kids can be almost as expensive as gear.
