View Full Version : No Skiing for T-Day Weekend

Whiteface says it won't be open for skiing this holiday weekend. That sucks!!!!! I can't tell you the last time I didn't ski on black friday. Guess I'll have to go shopping, NOT!!!!!!!!!!! I guess a hike will be in order or skining up if theres snow made.

Don't I wish, but I've got to go all oven roasted traditional for the plain-Jane relatives ( not to mention if I go baked, I get to take off for a five hour paddle session ).

I've never been to Whiteface in the summer...is there grass enough on some of the high elevation stuff to encourage skiing on marginal cover? With what is projected to fall up top, combined with the wind forecasted, what trails will have a pile of wind loaded on the side?

Willy... or somebody, anybody... PLEASE skin up on Sunday and post some pics!
