Good day. Didn't start to get wet till about 2.
Rode from 10-2. Went straight up top, was going to head directly to lies, until we saw the double running. Was maybe 7th down upper darb. Great natural snow over there. Rode darby and the woods for about 5 runs. Great to be back over there! Hulla, and the Steils were not open, couple tracks down them but we deff. need some more snow. Darkside glades looked extremely tempting, sure someone got them by the end of the day...
Really foggy today. Chati was OK, Lies would have been fun in higher light. Open pit was hard pack but you could get a nice edge in. Around noon-thirty headed back down to the base. Took ruby- saw the quad running on the way by, didn't go down there though, oddly lazy today, i'm sure it was nice over there.
Maybe 5 cars in the paid parking. Mountain was empty, especially for Holiday. TOok my first shittle of the season, didn't have to walk more than 10 steps to hop on.. Drivers had so much time on their hands they were picking people up from their trunks.
Just hope we get some snow soon!
Get up there and have it, lots opening up- make sure you've got some edges on your sticks.
