SIAWOL ...thanks for posting. I hadn't seen it.

The part that interests me most is a quote from Jeff ....

"A lot of us have a familial feel toward this place. We feel a sense of ownership and pride toward this mountain ..."

I know I feel this way. But I'm not sure why exactly. I think that this personal identification with Gore that many of us have, is at the heart of this issue.

Somehow I think that if this was going on at Okemo, people would be more likely to shrug and accept it. (Not trying to single out Okemo, just using it as an example).

Would like to hear all opinions, especially SIAWOL's. Your screenname - to me it says I REALLY identify with my mountain.

Find it Hilarious how they use WF paid parking as an example of how no one has complained about it. Unfortunately they left out WF used a lot that was never opened to the public to begin with so there was no loss. :roll:
