I am looking for a semi private/ private club up there to play some golf. Area of interest. Saranac, LP, Tupper.

Any of you guys know which the best course is?

Whiteface club (semi - private) tight lies, narrow fairways.
Saranac Inn - IMO Best in the Adirondacks

What's your aversion to public courses? There's lots of good ones up here.

None what so ever. Private clubs allow you the luxuary to play 18 holes in less than 4 hours. In addition you meet a lot of great prospects in my business at the private clubs.
