View Full Version : So this pipe...

10-22-2006, 10:06 AM
Anyone got any more information besides it's in the works...Talks earlier this summer made the possibility of a half-pipe return to gore seem possible, and very likely...A say...10 foot mini-pipe would be great, because it could be managable, cuttable, and not take up gobs and gobs of snow...my hopes ARE not high(plus WF's superpipe ain't 1/2 bad) but it could provide a little entertainment.

Im waiting for them to say gore-e-gully. Then advertise that their new rockin' 100ft pipe with walls varying from 3-7 feet that are sometimes hit-able is serviced by its own lift!!

MORE GORE!!

hahahahahahah. i think itll definitely be in the gully though. where else would they put it? the face would just be terrible. too many people would just hit it and ruin it as just a feature on the way down. if they do put it in the gully, they might put the pipe in the middle and rails to 1 side and jumps to the other, that might be cool.

solid full snow loop with fire on each side and spikes for those that can't handle it, also they are planning on having large pools of water filled with hungry sharks

No pipe this year.

No pipe next year.

They said that Gore will not have a halfpipe again until the Ski Bowl/Gore hook up is completed. At that point, they'll move the park and everything down there too. The cool thing is that this stuff will be under lights so you'll be able to ride it at night. The bad thing is that it's 2 seasons away.

they should experiment for the these two seasons so we can get some good jumps going then the park under the lights (which is a great idea) can be the grand finale
