chk your profile. make sure you chk "yes" to "Always allow bb code" and then "submit" the profile after you make that change.

As I said in the "Skyward......" thread thanks for the tip, but someone may want to suggest a different wording for that setting. As a non-tech valley type, I had no idea what was being asked of me when I reached that option in my profile.
