Across the pond we are making snow like crazy......Woodbury Ski area opened today to once again take the honors as the first eastern ski area to open!

never heard of woodbury. i thought k-mart normally opens first. whats the point if nobody has heard of it and nobody goes there? must be a tiny hill. take a lot of snow to cover big whitey! we will enjoy that nice long 3.5 mile trail when she opens in a few weeks.

Are they starting at the top of little whiteface on excel. like they did last year?

Yesterday they started snowmaking 150 miles south of Whiteface, at Belleayre mountain:
