It's WARM :x :x as hell out down here in the capital. What's going on at big Whitey? What is this god awful warm spell going to do with the opening of WF? WHY IS IT 60 OUT???????????????????????? :twisted:

Its not that warm but it is nice out up here. Going to be all week. Not much in the form of rain though so we will be ok.

the forecasts for the 'dacks looks rather seasonal-which is fine by me. IT also looks dry with cold nights so whatever is up top should stay pretty well.
I also think a little warm spell is good to charge up the great lakes again and set up some lake effect enhanced squalls in the adirondacks in december. If it stayed cold the lakes would shut down.

Just got off the phone with someone at the mountain who said that it's been a slight on-again/off-again drizzle for most of the day, but nothing major, so don't fret.

Their comment was, "there's tons of snow blown up there".
