Seeing as the Mt doesnt plan to open till the Friday after thanksgiving, anyone know how decent the skiing is up there if you hike? My buddies are taking off for the weekend here at school and Ive got nothing better to do.

Actually, there is supposed to be a ton of snow up top, but I still question the legality ( meaning are they going to stop your hardcore a** ) of attempting the hike.

I'd hold off- the weather will turn for the better (skiing better) after this weekend- looks like next weekend would be better.
