Do you know something the WM website doesn't?

According to them there are no "Special Offers" for the Placid show.

ya, in the lobby they served beer and we didn't go back in after intermission either, we just wedged the doors open and watched/drank from there.

it wasn't ALL bad...some stoke was had.

They had no beer. If they played the flick all the way through at 7:30 and had me out of there by 9 I would have liked it better. I was starting to get a hangover and had to go ramp up again.
I will go and see it again and again and again cause thats just the beginning of ski season.

I wasn't too impressed. I've seen WM films off and on since I was 7. I'm sick of people falling off cliffs. That isn't what I call skiing. It is sometimes controlled falling. It's skiing if you land on your skis and continue to ski.If people have to run over and dig you out of a 6 ft deep hole then your just an idiot. Banff Mt. film fest is better. Doug Combs was a great person and skier but I'm tired of hearing about his death.

Yes, Off The Grid wasn't that great. I miss the humor in the older warren miller movies, which aren't in the newer ones. "Want your ski? Well go get it!"

TGR's "Anonoly" was a much better movie.

he's still around but not doing much in the ski industry. it was different when he was making flicks, it was much more difficult to generate cash from the corp sponsors to keep it going. i also believe he got sick of the bs involved with all aspects of making movies and dealing w/ some athletes.

imo, he made the best flicks to date. blizzard is all time!

I saw that plant. Was wondering if it would have been worth it to make the trip. Are the ticks good for any time? Holidays?
See you Friday!!!!
