Hunter vs. Whiteface conditions

Hey HPD,

I read on AZ forum, that you were skiing Hunter with AZ crowd on Friday. If you ski Whiteface tomorrow, let us know which mountain is holding better in these conditions.

Whiteface is holding up better. Some of the local guys where telling me that Hunter made a ton of snow, but it was going fast. They where worried that Hunter wouldn’t be able to make it through Sunday.

We have a latitude and elevation advantage at WF. Today it was raining at the base but snowing from about the coon pit on up. They made snow on the Follies, Essex and Approach all day. It got cold enough to make snow below Connector on Excelisor where it was starting to get thin in the afternoon. Lower Valley was getting thin in spots, but a little snow making will take care of that in no time.

Today was a good day and better are coming with colder weather.
