the best deal is 2 for 1 tix on wednesdays. Bring a coca cola product and get two lift tix for the price of one.

but i just re-read your post and you said you will be there on saturday, not wed. sorry, that was stupid of me. I don't think they do 1/2 day tix at all though.

I saw what the website had to offer BEFORE i started this thread .
Actually IMHO the "deals" there ARN't impressive for this coming weekend IF you look @ the small print

If you think about it with the speed of the chairs now a days you a lot of runs in for 1/2 day. After 1:30 in the afternoon the mountain becomes a lot less congested. If you are looking for a deal. SKi half day and go like heck. If you buy a full day ticket see how many hours you actually ski.

TJF is correct  ---unless you are a hardcore skier, you are not going to ski from 8:30-4...the half day lift ticket is a great deal and and after 4 hours on whiteface's vert your legs will be crying.

well then daddy--you can get a lot of runs in during that time period, more than people who pay full price get.

phineas has the record at WF--32 runs in a single day

I heard Willy mention that record once, but I thought it was Phineas once went 32 minutes without saying something stupid. The 32 runs is more believeable.

It's approximately 50G feet of vertical. That's approximately the equivalent of skiin' from the summit of Everest to the sea and then skiin' from the summit of Denali to the sea. (Vert-wise. Not distance.)

It's impressive.

For a gaper

mt. run is 979 - that's the vert of the mt. run lift.
(1 reason mt. run = most bestest trail)

Mtn Run SUCKS for sooooo many reasons. The vert off 6 is 1800'. Skyward to the coon pit or Cloudspin to the coon pit - both with multiple options as to how to accomplish that trek - much, MUCH better than Mtn Run (which sucks). That's JMO - but it's true. 8)
