It was nice of whiteface to open up the mountain to the masses of non holiday passholders yesterday. Thanks BIG WHITEY hahah can you say gay. I was surpised how empty it was. At 9:15 I caught a ghongi by myself. It was snowing/sleeting/raining on the way over to the summit chair. The snow was great with nothing. After 69 days of being blacked out my heal did not hurt anymore.
Summit was empty sleet was blowing hard into your face off the lift but when you got around the corner things settled down. The snow was great up there. Sliding through the sleet was a carving experience. More twisting anckles than setting edges.
All of the trails with a decent pitch were great. Actually all the mountain was in great shape.
It was cool having an ice shell around your clothes.
I ended the day around one. When I got in I had a 1/2 inch of ice over my binding.

Today I am limping around. The fing heal thing is a drag
