I think that Bridget Widget is pretty cool. She is awesome!

To my chagrin I do not have a Bridget story but I do have a Widget story.

While working I had an Engineer from France calling on me from her company in (where else) France). During a meeting she was advocating one of her products that required a “fitment” (her word) from her company to place the product properly. I referred to the “fitment” as a widget. She responded saying she thought a widget was a, “little person.” Not being the most politically correct person in the world I responded that a widget was the “fitment” she was providing and that we give the widget to a midget for placement. She punched me.

What does this have to do with skiing? Nothing other than my French supplier was a skier (you know the French Alps and all that).
