I got a chance to get on the mountain yesterday. The temps were around freezing and it was snowing (hard at times). There was a couple of inches of new. The new snow made the difference, as the base was a little firm, although not too bad. There are some bare spots, but I thought the coverage was good - better then last year this late in the season. It was too cold to hit any bumps, so it was a cruising day. Skyward, Wilderness, and Mt Run were in good shape. the amount of new on Skyward was a surprising bonus. Mac was closed, but once it warms up again, Mac will be prime.

Upper Cloud spin was closed, lower Skyward was closed (but looked pretty good).

Overall - it is always good to get outside. Have to watch out for bare spots, rocks, water pools and holes. Should be good finish this weekend!
