Well, I'm still bummed about missing out on the slides, but I thought I'd talk about Gore.

All in all, it was a sweet weekend. Nothing chest deep, but it was definitely knee deep or more in the glades on Saturday and Sunday morning. Upper Chatiemac Glades were SWEET, and totally windloaded on Sunday morning. Rumor and Lies were both bumped all weekend with big soft pillows of powder. Gunbarrel was pretty fun on Sunday morning, too.

Lower mountain was groomed Saturday night, but still had some nice snow on top (dusting) for carving. Something about Groomed Natural snow vs. Groomed manmade, the natural snow is SO much better.

Twister glades still not open . . . not enough snow and they had a big J-3 race on Twister all weekend.

Looks like more snow in the forecast for Thursday - should be another great weekend coming up.
