"Hello fellow AlpineZoners! I am pleased to announce the creation of a new online community dedicated to skiing Whiteface and Gore, as well as life in the Lake Placid region overall:

The popularity of "The Unofficial Whiteface Thread" Twisted Evil and the success of the other AlpineZone "daughter" site - SkiMRV.com prompted this idea. With support from a group of AlpineZone Members and ORDA, I'm excited to announce this new Web community!

Feel free to register and actively participate in the forums. We certainly appreciate your help in getting this new community off the ground. Also, please feel free to spread the word of the new site to other ADK skiing enthusiasts!"
