What kind of base is up there on the non-snowmaking trails? Is there enough base in trees if this storm produces 12" ?

Nobody with 10 posts gets that kind of info!

In reality some (slightly insane) people have already been in the trees.

c'mon.....I trying to make a decision on where I am headed. You can't give me a straight answer. Just looking for an estimate of how much natural base there is

Let's just say that there is plenty of base, but, Ski Patrol has not opened any of the glades yet. They asked me today what I thought of the woods, and my comment was to open them up. Twisted Evil

Went in straightbrook today: it was a little hairy, nothing that 8" wont fix.

Could only get into chatimac glades 2/3 of the way down because of those damn high pipes. It was pretty sweet in there. They will be prime
