I just watched the local weather forecast in Albany, and they're calling for 4"-8" north of Speculator. Would someone from closer to the mountain post what they are saying on your local news?

They predict a 'mixed bag' of snow/sleet/freezing rain starting Fri ~12PM and continuing thru early Sat AM. 3"-7" of snow is expected along with "ICE ACCUMULATION UP TO AN HALF INCH OR MORE POSSIBLE WITH THIS EVENT. THE GREATER SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATION IS LIKELY ACROSS THE NORTHERN AREAS ALONG THE CANADIAN BORDER" per weather.com
