Well.....I want to say that today ranked right up there with one of my best, all-time, spring skiing days!!!
The wife and I blew off work and got to the hill around 9:00. The lower mt was really good by then and the upper came around by mid-morning. The upper lot was 2/3 full and they had the Gondi. Topridge and Straightbrook running. There's lots of base left.
We haven't been up in awhile and were surprised at the tree damage. We saw a chipper attached to a snowcat that had been working Tahaws. Now I know why the North side is closed for the season!
The temps reached the high 40's ~ 3:00 and it was bluebird sunshine all day. Didn't get too warm to make it mushy and slow. A really great day.
Hope some of you got some of this today. It doesn't get much better than this in the spring.
