I knew it was going to be open for a Rotary opening or something like that. Turns out about 80 people showed up with there ski gear and where allowed to ride the gondi. I think that’s great I just wish someone had told me about it.

I kinda blame myself. All I had to do was drive over. I knew you and S4L where checking into it so when neither of you called I figured it was no go.

I quess it was an impromptu thing. I heard when they saw how many people showed up they decided what the heck let them ride.

If anyone was there let us know how it was.

Not sure if WFers care but Gore Gondi may open on the weekend for Thomas the Train. May 24?

Lots of skiers showed up last year.

Yeah, thanks. Was there much snow left May 24th relatively speaking?

I'd heard it was pretty good.

This is the most recent data I've seen this year:

Note...I'm not positive that the Gondi will run this year. The website hasn't mentioned it yet. Also this year Thomas is coming on two consecutive weekends, last year it was only one.

From what I heard, the 80-90 people were the Rotarians there weren't any skiers that went up the gondi.

Looks like scenic Gondi rides are happening at Gore, during Thomas the Train.
