What a day! A textbook hardpack day at Whiteface... We got there in the AM for first chair, and we werent dissppointed. Top to bottom cruzin runs were the choice of our group today. The temps were ok, snow was ok, and that sunshine was a nice addition to our riding experience. Tomorrow should be just as good... My favorite run of the day was Upper Cloud and upper skyward to lower cloud, then back up 6 to do it all over again... summit to follies to lower cloud to broadway/lower valley was a great long cruizer. Park features were a bit stiff and worked over from saturday, but jumps were ridable. Dont forget to check out the US snowboard cup next weekend... they are still looking for volunteers too if you want to get up close and personal with some of the pros. Im working on the race course maintaining some of the features... should be cool. Maybe Wescott and Teter will bring their medals to show off to us east coast sliders!
