And I also would nominate HPD to moderate the forum. I think he does great considering he's getting pulled in 10 directions at once. I set this forum up as a courtesy for HPD. I initially structured it like AZ cuz that's all I know. You guys all made your disdain pretty apparent and I took a lot of your advise. I have for much of this season remained pretty hands-off yet you guys still like to taunt me, so again, I jab back and all I get is whining. Anyway, you're right with everything you said above. Go ahead and start your own forum. I'm pulling the plug on this one tonight.

there is actually a very good forum completely dedicated to the adirondacks with local advertising. it gets way more traffic than this site and all of the traffic is people visiting or living in the adirondacks.

I actually inquired a while ago about having them set up a page strictly related to Whiteface (the one they have now is general skiing/hiking and more backcountry people use it. they said if enough people posted there that they would do that. if the whiteface folks inquired, i am sure they would be more willing to work with them and a link on whiteface pages would get more people who ski whiteface over there. i agree about the VT ads and the whiteface bashing that happens on alpine zone isnt helpful. killington has their own forum and it gets huge traffic.

I told you in my PM that I knew who it was. And the only way I knew that was because he PM'd me and told me so. My first thought was, "great - those guys are gonna think it's me." It's not. I don't roll that way. In any event, it no longer matters.

Jack, don't buy any of this BS. He's "pulling the plug" on something he was about to lose any way. There's a lot more going on here than what you see or than can be posted about on the forum.
