Lows Lake

I saw this article on Lows Lake:

Not sure what to think of it. They'll designated it a wilderness but still allow motors on the lake? I thought the definition of wilderness was (among other things) no motors? Why not make it (or leave it) Wild Forest?

Also there wasn't anything in the article on the whole float plane issue. I thought that was the main point of contention.

Anyone with information or an informed opinion pro or con...I'd love to hear your input.
