Whiteface Expansion?
What is up with the expansion of Whiteface? Anyone got any info? The buzz is that they will start in August of this year after the Thrush is done raising it's young. I haven't seen anything in the papers and the mountain isn't posting any info. I thought they would at least have a blueprint up.

I have been trying to keep up with the Gore expansion project, but this is the first I've heard of Whiteface expansion.
What are they planning on doing?

Whiteface Expansion
They want to add more slopes on the mountain to the left of chair 6. The thrush is a bird that lives in the trees at the elevations of the new trails to be cut. FYI, today was an incredible day at the mountain. They groomed everything and it was fast with little or no ice. Took many speed runs down Skyward. At times I was the only person on the trail.
