    Heat

Hot as hell in the Daks and a fresh herd of mosquitoes and deer flies have hatched. The window shaker air conditioning just can't keep up. got me thinking about central AC once again. Push mowing should be fun. I remember those days before moving north year round. Now I mow with a rider and knock it off in 40 minutes a week.

You are right about the deerflies and blackflies, tough in the evenings. Too late in the year for blackflies, end of June is usually the end. Someone needs to tell them that.

We had some blackflies this weekend in North River but they didn't seem like they were totally biting.

Oddly we only had a few deerflies which could take you off your guard.

The things are so SLOW, but MAN when they get you they take a huge chunk.

I think it's funny to put the bug report in the weather thread. Makes sense really.
