what ever happened to hawkeye and chatiemac, they both used to be my favorites, nice bumps the whole length on both of them, not too big, and not too steep either, but now i dont think ive skied a good bump run at gore all season, i can only hope the spring is for the better. Hawkeye , especially, with the lift overhead at the bottom section, you can really let it shine. The rumor has some fierce bumps, but i consider it more of a run you take when you need a good challenge, the bumps are so massive, that to find a line and hold it takes some fierce strength.

Did you ski Hawkeye this past Sunday (March 5th)? Sweet bump lines on the same area you are talking about. I think they're going to leave it bumped for a while . . . they got the bump contest coming up either next week or the week after.

Also Rumor and Lies had amazing bumps this past weekend.

The North Face as of last December is compltely untouched now. It's fun but has a pretty mellow pitch.

Bump one up... Groom one out...

I'm not the best of bump skiers by far, but I love to play and the more I play the better I get... I like it when Chatiemac has bumps and Hawkeye is groomed or the reverse. Seriously I know that they need to "cater" to a wide variety of skiers, so reach a compromise and switch off grooming for those two trails. Then you kind of get the best of both. Lies has fun bumps, but Rumor is just to big for me to play on - I like smaller lines and not the big whales that show up.
