Who skied this weekend? Gore was great on Fri, see the link for photos & TR:

I see Whiteface is open all week although Gore is closed Mon-Fri and re-opening for next Sat only.
Any info on current conditions would be appreciated.

    conditions

the snow is not as wet and heavy as you might expect but it is dissapearing quickly

the summit is closed as it is now too far to walk to get to the snow on skyward

the nationals courses are the best due to the extra snow making the the urea they put on it - upper parkway to thruway to drapers

appraoch is toast so stay in the mid mountain area and use the mid station to avoid the bottom

it's a shame, because coverage on upper / lower skyward was still good (on wednesday)

It was going FAST on Sunday. Lookout Mountain was opened top of Wilmington to Lookout Below only. LOB was good, but rock are peeking out.
Essex was good, Upper Valley was getting sketchy. Lower Valley also sketchy. Bottom of Broadway sketchy. It was hard getting from one section to the other.
As Z says , summit was closed Sunday. Coverage looked really good on Sky, lower sky, except getting into it.
Remember to enter the Gondi from the other side, like in the summer, avoid the mud.
I will be surprised if it makes it to the weekend.
