Looks like some skatin is involved. Not so bad on teles. I'll stick with foxlair unless I'm hungry for lunch.

Skating is always involved when skiing Gore. That's my only complaint. Gore's really done an excellent job in opening up new terrain esp. the likes of Dark Side Glades but they need to do something about all the flat spots on the mountain esp. when you get off the summit chair.

I would think that they might be able to do some grading to help, but they pretty much have to go with what they have.
The Stone Age didn’t end because people ran out of stones.

Whatever works. I'm no engineer but I hate the skate. I say they put in a rope tow off the summit trail to get you over to Rumor.

I am confident that a rope tow would get the job done and even be inexpensive!

Yes, lots of resorts put in some type of pull lift to get skiers over the flat spots. Vail comes to mind as does Alta.

then again, Vail and Alta in the same context as Gore?

Nope, a pull lift for gore will never happen.

I totally agree with you, when I posted that I knew we were still talking about Gore- but hey it would be nice wouldn't it?
