I think Misc. is the place for non-skiing posts. That why people just looking to talk skiing don't have to wade throw all the stuff they have no interest in.
Not everyone has time at work to go threw every post to see what it's about.

I agree with Greg and HPD. If it doesn't pertain to skiing or close to skiing then don't post it. There are plenty of other blog sites to post stupid non-skiing stuff.
